Brave Hearts Unite

It all started on an average Sunday a few days after chemo. Waking up that morning, I thought that water FINALLY sounded good again. (If you know you know). The best part of getting out of the chemo brain fog phase however, was the ability to think again. More specifically, the ability to play board games. On that particular Sunday, a family friend of ours had offered to come over and play some board games with me. After several hours of fun, he left, and I could not help feeling how meaningful it was that somebody had taken time not just to come give me something, but to actually spend time with me. This is where the idea took root. And from this idea, I first imagined how awesome it would be if I could share this experience with others. Then came Make-A-Wish. With my idea, and their help in getting funding, Your Turn was finally ready to go.
